As a person who suffers with respiratory allergies, spring often seems as bad as winter for being ‘stuck in the house.’  However I am not one who can stay indoors for long!    Despite the fact that every tree, grass and flower in the hollow likes to share its love with me by coating me in yellowish-green pollen, I put on my allergy repelling armor and traipse through the green dust.  Why?  There is beauty in the dust!  With all the negative, speculative news, “un-reality shows,” and violence and immorality in the world, it is little reminders of God’s natural beauty that I seek to refresh my

mind and spirit.  Not to mention a walk in the woods is good for the body too!  So here’s a few snapshots of the beautiful bounty that has arrived ‘down in the hollow’ in May.

Let me encourage you with this scripture from the Book of Philippians 4:8 and I hope each of you will seek and find the beauty in your own area – may it bring you joy!
