Recipe Time: Fresh Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie

With all the strawberry festivals going on in the month of May I thought I would share a quick, easy, and tasty strawberry pie recipe that is a BIG hit when made with red, ripe, garden fresh strawberries.

1 baked deep dish pie shell

1 8oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup whipped topping

Directions:

Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and whipped topping together until smooth.  Fold in strawberries.  Pour into cooled, baked pie shell and let set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.  Top cooled pie with fresh strawberries and fresh mint leaves.

20160514_163430_resized Note: I double the recipe because one pie never seems to be enough.  I also let my pie set in the refrigerator overnight.  I’m not a great pie decorator, but this didn’t stop folks from eating it! I hope you’ll enjoy this delicious recipe too!
